What exactly is AirSure?

AirSure is a mobile tire-maintenance service based in Oakland, CA. We come directly to your home or workplace to professionally check and adjust your tire pressure. We offer both convenient one-time visits and a subscription plan for total peace of mind.

What vehicles do you service?

Cars, SUVs, light trucks, EVs, and motorcycles as standard visits — plus special vehicles like RVs, travel trailers, and dually trucks. Special vehicles run different pressures and take different equipment, so we quote those per vehicle when you book. Our goal is to keep any vehicle on Bay Area roads safe and running efficiently.

How does the subscription work?

You choose a plan — Solo for one car, Household for two, or add more cars at the same address for $7 a month each — and are billed quarterly, or annually with two months free ($120/yr Solo, $200/yr Household). One visit per bill: you're billed each quarter, and every quarter we come, timed to the seasons — so your tires are set right when the weather actually moves them.

Why quarterly? Wouldn't more visits be better?

Tires drift about 1 PSI a month. Quarterly visits keep your average deficit around 1–2 PSI, versus 5–10 on a neglected car. More visits would recover only a few dollars more per year — we'd rather keep the price at $12 than pad it. And the visits are timed to the seasons — fall drop, winter cold, spring swing, summer heat — when temperature actually moves your pressure, not an arbitrary timer.

What if my pressure light comes on between visits?

That's the Light Promise: we come check it, get you safe, and tell you exactly what it is — free. It covers pressure-related warning lights, with reasonable use. If it's something air can't fix — like a failed sensor — we'll diagnose it honestly and tell you exactly what to ask a shop for. No markup, no commission. Included with Solo and Household.

Question 6

Isn't air free at the gas station?

Accepted Answer

It is — and our Find Air page will show you the closest free pump, whether you're a member or not. What the pump can't do is remember your tread depth from last quarter, check your spare, forecast when your tires need replacing, or show up when a light comes on. You're paying for foresight and your time, not air.

Question 7

How can it be this cheap?

We schedule whole neighborhoods on the same day, so we're not driving across the Bay for one car. Tight routes keep our costs down, and founding pricing passes that along. It's also why we ask for your zip code first.

Will the price go up?

These are founding rates — our launch pricing. Early members keep their rate for good. If prices change later, that's for new members, not you.

Are you adding more services?

Yes — beyond tire pressure, any visit can include add-ons like wiper blades, cabin and engine air filters, headlight restoration, and a wheel clean with full tire dressing — each priced per service on the Plans page. Note that add-ons needing access inside the car — like cabin and engine air filters — do require someone to be there, or key access arranged when you book. Washer-fluid top-offs are free for subscribers on every visit. More on-site care, like oil service, is on the roadmap — we'll share it here as it rolls out.

Can I cancel or pause my subscription?

Yes — there's no long-term contract. Cancel anytime and you keep every visit through the end of the quarter (or year) you've paid for — we simply don't bill you again. No refunds mid-period, no hassle either way.

All major credit and debit cards, processed securely through Stripe.

What is your service area?

We serve the greater Bay Area — the East Bay, San Francisco, the Peninsula, the South Bay, and the North Bay — all on our regular daily routes. Not sure you're in the zone? Send the booking anyway — we confirm coverage when we reply with your appointment time.

Do I need to be home for the service?

Accepted Answer

Not for the standard visit. As long as we have clear and safe access to your vehicle — a driveway or a designated parking spot — we can perform the full service without you being present. The one exception: add-ons that need access inside the car, like cabin and engine air filters — for those, someone needs to be there, or arrange key access with us when you book.

How do I know my tires were actually checked?

Transparency is key. After every service you'll receive a quick email report with the before-and-after PSI for each tire, plus any notes on your tire's condition.

What tools do you use?

Professional-grade, calibrated digital gauges and quiet, powerful air compressors — significantly more accurate and reliable than a gas-station pump.

How do you know the correct pressure for my car?

We always use the manufacturer's recommended PSI, found on the sticker inside your driver's-side doorjamb — not the max-pressure number on the tire itself. That's the right number for your specific vehicle.

Do you check for tire damage?

Yes. Every visit, we log tread depth and check each tire for cracks, embedded objects, and uneven wear — anything unusual gets flagged for professional attention right away, along with a health report to your phone before we leave the curb.

What happens when my tires are wearing out?

Your tread log builds a forecast, not just a snapshot — after a few visits we can tell you roughly how many miles and months your tires have left, so replacement is a planned purchase instead of a roadside emergency. When yours are getting close, we flag it early and help you compare current offers from local shops, at their prices — no markup, no commission. We're building out negotiated member deals with partner shops; when that launches, any referral fee will be disclosed right here, flat no matter where you buy.
